Hi. I’m a reporter and writer currently based in Atlanta. I’m the host of Peak Travel, a podcast from WHYY, PRX, and NPR about how travel shapes communities in popular locations around the world. I write about travel, culture, and style for various publications, including The Cut, The New York Times, Conde Nast Traveler, Slate and more. I previously worked as a national correspondent, travel reporter, staff editor and researcher at The New York Times. I’ve also contributed to the Opinion, Style, Books and Politics sections of the paper.

I’m the winner of numerous of journalism awards for travel, feature and multimedia reporting. I’m an alumna of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and John Cabot University in Rome, Italy.
